Happy Monday, lovelies. Sorry for the blog silence last week. Between the nasty weather, spring break and frequent migraines I haven't been feeling up to blogging lately. I am also being driven insane by nasty spam comments. I have been getting a bunch of them everyday and they are yucky. I can live with a little spam for normal stuff, but these are grossing me out. Anyway. I am going to have to figure something out. I may have to go back to Disqus because I really don't want to turn on the horrible comment verification. So. If you have any advice to offer, I would appreciate it.

Anyway, about the clothes. Nope, nada. I wore this to church. That's it.

V-Day Colors

burgundy tights & stripey flats

This is what I wore to our Valentine's Fellowship at church last week. We ate tons of lasagna and enjoyed watching a few of our couples play the 'Oldywed Game'. It was a total blast. I layered some burgundy and hot pink with a stretchy black pencil skirt (which is pulled all the way up under the girls so it isn't too long) and my go with everything striped flats. Add a topknot and dangly earrings and I felt both appropriate and festive. (My color seems to be off a bit, but I promise the tights and jacket are burgundy not brown. Bad Camera.)

Happy Monday, lovelies! I'll be keeping it brief today as the kiddo is sick. Poor baby. So we'll be spending the day at the doctor's office. So fun. I wore this to church a couple of weeks ago. Burgundy velvet blazer, teal silky blouse, khaki skirt, leopard wedges and a triple braided bun add up to a comfy, easy and warm church outfit. Granted, the knit tights are not particularly flattering on the legs, but they are warm. So there.

Guys, I promise this is the last post with my Christmas tree. This outfit is actually from the first Sunday in January, I think. A velvet blazer, tweed skirt, colored tights and oddly tied scarf. I have become appalling predictable in my Sunday clothes. There's always a blazer or jacket with either a pencil skirt and boots or a dress. Add a scarf or statement necklace and I'm good to go. How 'bout we call that an outfit formula instead of predictable and leave it at that. :)

Happy Thursday, pretty ladies! Here is a random Sunday outfit from the week before Thanksgiving. I got about a zillion compliments on the outfit when I wore it. Which is always a plus. It was also super comfy and cozy. Another plus. So all in all an outfit win in my book. What do you think?

And also, can we just take a second to talk about my awesome (and comfy) burgundy pumps. I stalked these things like crazy last year. And never could find them on sale in my size. Then randomly at the end of the year I found one pair and snatched them up and brought them home with me (I did pay for them first) where they will live happily ever after in my closet. Because life is incomplete without a pair of burgundy pumps. Seriously.
