Happy Friday! Clearly I am ready to go on safari in my new vest. ;) What do you think? I love the little bit of extra interest it gives an outfit. What I don't love is the fact that it was warm enough to be bare legged in December because clearly these gams need some covering until spring. Yikes.

And, that's it for today, folks. My darling little one gave me a cold so I am currently miserable and high on cold medicine. At the same time. Nice.

Happy Thursday, pretty ladies! Here is a random Sunday outfit from the week before Thanksgiving. I got about a zillion compliments on the outfit when I wore it. Which is always a plus. It was also super comfy and cozy. Another plus. So all in all an outfit win in my book. What do you think?

And also, can we just take a second to talk about my awesome (and comfy) burgundy pumps. I stalked these things like crazy last year. And never could find them on sale in my size. Then randomly at the end of the year I found one pair and snatched them up and brought them home with me (I did pay for them first) where they will live happily ever after in my closet. Because life is incomplete without a pair of burgundy pumps. Seriously.

Happy Wednesday, friends! Well, I am at it again - fallifying my summer dresses. This is a basic little mint short sleeved dress to which I added a navy cardi, teal tights and necklaces and a brown belt and boots. I wore it out and about and got tons of compliments and felt pretty fabulous and comfy all day. :) I really liked the various cool tones grounded by the chocolate brown. What do you think?

Payday Pretty: Cognac Leather Jacket

Happy Tuesday, lovelies! I am sort of officially done with my shopping ban. ;) For the remainder of the year (with the exception of birthday or christmas money) I will be limiting myself to a $20 a week clothing budget (inspired by Alison's Payday Pretties). For this week my $20 went to this adorable ruffled faux leather jacket from Catos. On clearance for $17.49. It is the perfect shade of tan/cognac and it has ruffles. I know that I said last week that my leather jacket wasn't appropriate for church and honestly my black one is much more casual, but this baby. It. has. ruffles. Obviously the ruffles make it church appropriate. ;)
